Line maintenance MRO is web-based solution and can be accessed on a laptop or tablet. Maintenance tasks can be planned on a way to work which is particularly convenient during emergency situations, such as AOG, when rapid response is needed. During AOG situations, Line Maintenance MRO allows users to create On Call Request and add new aircraft or choose from the existing one.
In addition, to make management easier, the product gives the option to filter data and set down to a more manageable size, eliminate non-required information and process only the essential material.
Compared to using Excel spreadsheet, Line Maintenance MRO helps to improve work and maintain a standardized approach, allows multiple people using it at once, has time tracking function, and leaves no room for human error.
Line Maintenance MRO allows users to create a Visit Package and define such information as station, priority, customer, description, aircraft, and needed staff quantity. The data that is entered in the system is automatically stored and never has to be typed twice. If there is the same plane with the same or similar check, users with one click can copy already existing Visit Package containing all the necessary information, Work Order details and make corrections where it is needed. The automation saves time, money and consequently improves business results. Furthermore, during the planning stage, Line Maintenance MRO allows users to easily define if two tasks are involving the same action, and plan it in such a way that in one go both tasks would be done. This not only accelerates processes but also frees up time and allows to focus on further work.
After the Visit Package is filled in, Work Order information can be entered, such as work description, planned hours (MHRS), proposed hours, status, hangar, etc. Line Maintenance MRO allows to easily change Work Order status choosing from various options to indicate the preparation stage, maintenance execution, closure and more. Users can mark several Work Orders and change status all together with one click. This saves time, printing out Work Orders makes communication more efficient, helps to easily organize work.
During maintenance execution, Line Maintenance MRO allows to track employee labor hours, providing transparency of the time it takes to complete all tasks. After the work is finished, the users can print out a daily production plan containing planned and actual labor hours and other information related to performed tasks. Accurate time tracking during line maintenance consequently equates to more money for the business as usually the customers are billed by the hour. Also, having an exact time count makes it easier to invoice.
